What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

During the pandemic, many nonprofits faced tremendous risk as the most significant fundraising event of their year - their gala’s had to adapt to the the new normal. While many organizations canceled entirely, others held online fundraising drives and an innovative few went virtual. For WMF, the event would represent the 55th anniversary of their important work - so canceling was not an option.

The World Monuments Fund’s (WMF) mission is to safeguard the most precious cultural heritage sites around the world. WMF’s visionary CEO, Benedicte deMontlaur, dreamed up a virtual gala that would bring travel to a donor base stuck in lockdown. After having worked closely with Benedicte during her time as Cultural Counselor at the French Embassy - we were quickly tasked with taking this fragment of a dream and bringing the event to life.

Around The World In 12 Hours’ represented an innovative vision for the World Monuments Fund to hold their 55th Anniversary Gala during a global pandemic.

AN AMBITIOUS <span class="outline">VISION</span>

In the months leading up to the event, we held several calls with collaborative ideation and brainstorming at the forefront - each time honing in on how we would execute the concept in a way that was deeply creative and technically sound. Ultimately, “Around The World in 12 Hours” was born - a virtual gala taking place across TWELVE HOURS with WMF staff, site experts and stakeholders participating from across the globe. Donors were presented with a series of virtual site tours to RSVP to - each covering a different region where WMF’s work would be showcased. The invite radiated the excitement of travel with meticulously crafted aesthetic revolving around passport stamps and other travel-inspired elements.
